Hill+Knowlton Strategies Netherlands has been awarded the Golden World Award for Excellence (GWA) in the category of Financial services & investor relations for its communication strategy for the IPO of Takeaway.com. The Awards recognize work meeting international standards of excellence in communications and public relations. The GWA’s are awarded annually by the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), the global association for communications professionals.
Hill+Knowlton developed the communication strategy for the successful listing at EURONEXT Amsterdam of Takeaway.com, the parent company of Thuisbezorgd.nl. An important part of the strategy was to create understanding by all relevant stakeholders to the company of the international growth strategy, the business model and the most essential investment criteria of Takeaway.com. The communication strategy and execution by Hill+Knowlton generated an unprecedented attention from media, opinion leaders and the support from investors and other key stakeholders.
The communication strategy was developed and implemented by a team of communication professionals led by Sabine Post – de Jong, Board Director and Practice Lead of the Financial+M&A Practice of Hill+Knowlton Strategies Netherlands.
