Robin den Hoed

In his role as Director Corporate Communications, Robin works for a range of clients in the areas of corporate communication, issues and crisis management, media spokesmanship and brand reputation. Robin believes his main task is to strengthen and protect the reputation of both the company and its brands. He has been working at Hill+Knowlton Strategies since 2012. Robin has more than 20 years of experience in various market areas such as retail, banking, telecom and FMCG. He has recently worked for Canal Digital, FMO, McDonald’s, Nespresso, Albert Heijn and ING, among others.

As a client lead for McDonald’s, he frequently assisted the management of this company with issues and supported the spokespersons with daily contacts with the media.

In Robin’s opinion, strengthening and protecting reputations can only really be achieved if the strategy and the implementation of communication programs are seamlessly connected. Managing and supervising teams in this is an important part of Robin’s daily activities.

Before Hill+Knowlton Strategies, Robin worked for 10 years for Ketchum Amsterdam. He was ultimately responsible for customers in the retail and FMCG sector. He worked there for companies such as Ziggo Zakelijk, Douwe Egberts, Philips and Makro.

Robin studied business administration at Radboud University in Nijmegen and Communication at the HEAO in Utrecht. After his studies, he obtained the NIMA Marketing B and C diplomas.
