Hill+Knowlton Strategies wins at M&A Awards 2015

Frans van der Grint, Financial+M&A Practice Director Europe for Hill+Knowlton Strategies, has won the award for ‘Best PR Consultant in M&A’ for the fourth consecutive year during the annual M&A Awards 2015 on the 10th of December at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam.

Frans van der Grint, Financial+M&A Practice Director Europe for Hill+Knowlton Strategies, has won the award for ‘Best PR Consultant in M&A’ for the fourth consecutive year during the annual M&A Awards 2015 on the 10th of December at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam.


Hundreds of corporate bankers, lawyers, M&A directors and other experts voted on the best deals and dealmakers. Van der Grint was named as the best in the category ‘PR Consultants’, another outstanding achievement in his vast deal track record. Van der Grint and his team guided 25 large and small transactions in 2015. Most notable were the merger between Ahold and Delhaize, the Intertrust N.V. IPO, GKP Plc.’s acquisition of Fokker Technologies, TNT Express’ take-over of FedEx and RFS Holding’s acquisition by Apax Partners.


For the last quarter of this year the take-over of Stork by Fluor was also a notable one, for which Van der Grint advised both parties.


This is the sixth consecutive year that a Hill+Knowlton consultant has been awarded the best PR-Advisor in M&A award. In 2010 and 2011 the honors went to Ingo Heijnen, CEO for the Dutch office. Hill+Knowlton provided three nominees, Ingo Heijnen, Sabine Post-de Jong and Frans van der Grint for this year’s M&A Best PR Award.
